When it comes to gaining muscle, we all want to find a quick fix in order to get results!!
Here is a prime example as to why Steroids can be detrimental in the long run to not only your physique, but also your health.
Flex Wheeler was once one of the top heavy weight bodybuilders of his generation, but once he retired and stopped the excessive usage of steroids, he started to notice some unforgivable changes!
The incredible definition and mass he had gained over the years (around 15 years of training and steroid abuse) was soon ruined once he stopped using Steroids.
Along with the muscle loss came an incredible drop in testosterone levels and sperm count, resulting in Flex being unable to have children! This kind of reaction is common after years of drug abuse.
Doctors and professionals continue to spread the word that steroids can be ‘safe’ when used correctly, which is very true considering they can be found in GP practices and pharmacy’s around the world….
BUT!!! 90% of users in the Joe Public have no idea on the correct usages, precautions or side effects which Steroids can lead too.
Common side effects of Steroid abuse include:
- Severe Acne
- High Cholesterol
- GYNECOMASTIA (formation of breasts on males)
- High Blood Pressure
- Liver Damage
- Liver Tumor
- Cardiovascular problems
- Balding of the Hair
- Shrunken Testicles (male)
- Male characteristics in females
- HIV (From needle sharing)
- Ligament and Joint problem
- Enlarged Prostate
So, still want that ‘quick fix’?

Babies can do it…But most adults cant!
As babies we squat down to pick things up using perfect form. As we get older the muscles needed during the squat movement become tight due to inactiveness and more time sat around through out the day!
If you struggle with your squats, let the baby above teach you how! You should be ashamed of yourself! :p
